HST and CareTracker PM make big enterprise functionality an affordable reality for the smaller practice; while its secure, Web-based architecture simplifies deployment for large multisite practices. You get the control you need without ever having to maintain software.
What is an ASP? |
| |
Application service providers (ASP’s) offer medical practices a viable alternative to the high costs of technology implementation, support and maintenance. In the ASP model, the practice outsources system hosting and maintenance to the ASP Provider and its off-site data center. Using a standard PC, users will have access to the application through a secure Internet browser. In addition, updates and enhancements are added to the system, providing the latest technology to the end user and eliminating the need for upgrades!
Cost Factors |
| |
The purchase of a “client server” model is no longer a viable option for most practices. Traditional software licenses are prohibitively expensive and this approach requires constant hardware and software maintenance, IT support, coding updates, and electronic claims transmissions that often strangle cash flow when changes or problems occur. With CareTracker PM, there are no up hardware or software costs.
No Hidden Costs |
| |
ASP access is paid for via a predictable monthly subscription fee.
Ease of Implementation |
| |
With minimal preparation, an ASP system can be up and running the same day it goes live. Because the Web-based system is intuitive and user-friendly, office staff can be easily trained.
Reliability |
| |
The reliability of a Web-based PMS and EMR is never in question as multiple hosting and data backup centers are armed with a network structure consisting of server redundancy and failover systems, all designed to provide the practice with guaranteed uptime! |
